FAQ

Process

My sweet spot is brand identity and logo design, but I’m also experienced in all types of digital and print graphics. From web graphics, to print marketing materials, to company t-shirts, if you need it I can design it. Click here to see more specifics about the services I offer.

My unique approach to the design process blends structure with creativity, so you’ll always know what’s coming and your input shapes every step along the way. Plus, your client portal always displays the current phase and keeps everything simple and organized along the way! Look at the map below for a more in-depth look at each phase.

Five Phase Process Map

No need! You bring the blurry idea and I’ll bring it into focus. Part of my expertise is knowing the right questions to ask to craft a design you’ll be be ecstatic about.

Of course! Collaboration is key to my design process. We’ll work closely through each phase of the project.

My crystal ball is out of order right now, but I’m willing to bet you’d be thrilled with its mystical prediction. Here’s why:

  • My unique approach to the design process blends structure with creativity, so you’ll always know what’s coming, and your input shapes every step along the way. And with your client portal, you’ll have the freedom to check your project’s status or access your files anytime.
  • I’ve been helping folks with graphic design for over 15 years and have a great track record. While at B2Linked as their in-house designer for 7 years, I crafted their brand identity from the ground up and helped skyrocket them into position as one of the few Certified LinkedIn Marketing Partners.
  • I’m an Adobe Certified Professional in Graphic Design, I have a graphic design certificate from Parsons School of Design (a top art school), and a Bachelor of Art Education from BYU-Idaho.

Your project’s timeline depends its complexity and scope. Small projects like an icon set may take a few short days, whereas larger projects like a new brand identity can take multiple weeks. Click here to request a timeline estimate for your project.

When your project kicks off, you’ll receive an email invitation to sign into your client portal for the first time. Once you’re in, you’ll have access to all your project documents like draft designs, invoices, and feedback forms. You can make payments straight from your portal and even message me directly.

Pricing

Pricing varies based on the type of work you need. Design projects are priced per package. Audits, consulting, and ongoing design support are priced at my standard rate of $75 per hour. Click here to view pricing for specific services.

A “one-size-fits-all” approach isn’t my style. The elements included in each package vary because each project’s objectives and needs are unique. But generally speaking, design packages typically include a mood board, initial design concepts, and multiple rounds of revision to polish your design. The number of concepts and revisions can be tailored to your budget or project’s needs.

  • PACKAGES: A 50% non-refundable deposit is due before work begins, with the remaining balance due once your project is complete.
  • HOURLY: Work begins after payment is received.
  • PACKAGES: Projects cancelled after an agreement is signed are not eligible for a deposit refund, and any designs created up to that point stay with me.
  • HOURLY: Purchases cancelled within 48 hours will receive a full refund. After that window, refunds are not available.

*This policy helps me protect the time and creative energy I dedicate to every project from day one, and allows me to keep offering thoughtful, focused work to all my clients.
